Life Transitions
Helping you navigate your new normal
Transitions marked by celebration
High school graduation, retirement, starting your own business, or going back to a career after years of staying home are the milestones society welcomes. You planned for years what it would be like to be empty nesters, repeating the mantra, “When the kids are in school I will follow my dream.” But while society celebrates these events with parties and toasts, you’re not given a guidebook on what this means for your life.
Navigating these changes will bring about some feelings you would expect: excitement, anticipation, and gratitude, but also some that are a lot less talked about fear, imposter syndrome, loneliness, or questioning if this is really what you want.
Transitions that aren’t welcomed
There are other transitions, those forced on us by life or others: divorce, loss of job, loss of a loved one or relationship, disability, illness, or relocation. These are transitions that can bring up feelings that are much harder to discuss over dinner with the girls. Anger, abandonment, grief, relief, or hopelessness are very real on top of the actual situation you have to face daily. Friends, family, and colleagues can be a place of support, but when you acknowledge the toll this is taking on you, it may not be enough. A professional therapist can make a big difference.
What my clients say:
Welcome.
I’m Megan, and I can help.
I help women navigate tough moments in their lives. I won’t just sit and listen. Instead, you and I will form a dynamic partnership to create a life for you that doesn’t have anxiety fueling every thought and action. My clients not only experience a change with their initial complaint of anxiety, but also with their relationships, confidence, and sense of possibility in their lives.

During our time together, I use assessments to help us see how far you've come toward your goals. It's important to me that you not only feel your progress but also recognize it. These assessments give us concrete evidence of the positive changes you're making, helping you celebrate your achievements and stay motivated on your journey.
You don’t have to walk this path alone.
